From Front Doors to Sixth Form: Three New Builds
Every website has its story. A homeowner pricing up a new front door, a parent choosing a primary school and a teenager weighing up their next two years of study are three completely different people, in three different moments, wanting three different things. A template treats them the same. We don’t.
We’ve taken three sites live: a specialist windows and doors brand, a values-led primary school, and an independent college for 13 to 19 year olds. Each is a bespoke build on our schoolcms platform, shaped around one audience and one outcome, and their own story.
The reason we can do this is that everything happens under one roof. For 25 years we’ve kept strategy, design, development, content and SEO in the same building, working on the same project, so a commercial lead-generation site, a warm community primary and a conversion-led college prospectus all get the same level of craft. It’s also why we can stand behind the work: upfront metrics, monthly client calls, transparent reporting, full data ownership and no lengthy lock-ins. The three sites below aren’t a showcase of looks. They’re three answers to three very specific questions.
Chiltern Doors
Chiltern Doors is an independent windows and doors specialist installing across Luton, London and Birmingham, and the brief here was pure commercial credibility. This is not a catalogue, it’s a lead-generation engine. The messaging leads on craftsmanship and trust, “more than an installer, a trusted partner”, and every route on the site is built to move a homeowner from browsing to booking a showroom visit or designing their door.
What makes it different is how hard the trust signals work. A 4.9 Trustpilot rating and five-star Google reviews sit high on the page, partnerships with leading brands like Origin, Hallmark and Spitfire Doors add authority, and local sponsorship of Luton Town Football Club roots the business in its community. Clear product routes, Windows, Doors, Roof Windows and Garage Doors, sit alongside a “Design Your Door” call to action and a showroom with a 360 tour, so a considered, high-value purchase feels reassuring and easy. It’s a site built to turn local intent into real enquiries.
Ealing Independent College
Ealing Independent College is a dedicated college for 13 to 19 year olds in West London, offering GCSE and A Level courses, and the site is built to turn interest into applications. “Find your path” is the promise, and the design is confident, structured and modern, matching a college that offers focused, personalised education.
The difference is clarity of journey. Three clear routes, GCSE, A Level and Fees, let a student or parent self-select in seconds, small class sizes and personalised support are front and centre as the reasons to choose Ealing, and a parent testimonial does the trust-building at exactly the right moment. A prominent “Apply Now” runs throughout, so the path from “why Ealing” to “apply” is short and streamlined. It’s a prospectus engineered for conversion.
St Stephen’s CE Primary School
St Stephen’s is a nurturing, inclusive primary school in the West Bowling area of Bradford, rooted in Christian values, and the website is designed to feel exactly that way. The Headteacher, Mr Urry, sets the tone with a warm welcome, and the whole build leads with community and care rather than data. For the families it serves, reassurance comes first.
The difference here is warmth and accessibility by design. The school’s “nurture, grow, flourish” ethos runs through the site as a visual thread, colourful, human and welcoming, while safeguarding is given real prominence rather than buried in a policy page. Clear routes to enquire, request a prospectus or book a visit make the next step easy for a busy parent, and the learning-goals and values content shows what the school stands for, not just what it scores. It’s a site that reflects a real community and speaks to every family in it.
Bespoke Beats Template: Here’s The Evidence
Three sites, three genuinely different jobs: a commercial lead-generation brand, a values-led community primary and a conversion-focused college. Each was built in-house on our schoolcms platform, performance-optimised, brand-matched and shaped around one audience and one outcome, with our design, development and content teams working in the same building.
25 years and 300+ schools teaches you: engagement is never one thing. Sometimes it’s a quote request. Sometimes it’s reassurance for an anxious parent. Sometimes it’s an application. We design for it, measure it, and stand behind it with upfront metrics, transparent reporting and full data ownership.
Whether you’re a school or a brand, if your website has a job to do, let’s work out what that is together: book a discovery call and we’ll show you exactly how we’d build yours.
