The Great British Beer Festival

CAMRA, the organisers of The Great British Beer Festival wanted a new site for the 2017 event – the first festival was held in 1977, so it was an important anniversary for both the organisers and die-hard fans (some of whom have been attending the event from the very beginning).

The Beer Finder is one of the most important aspects of the site – it lets visitors see who is exhibiting each year and plan their day based on their preferences. This integral aspect of the site needed to be redesigned as well to work well on both desktops and mobiles, and to fit in with the site’s new modern layout.

Comparing 2017 after launch to the same period in 2016, GBBF saw:

22.08%more traffic
29.12%more pages viewed per visit
82.35%more traffic from Facebook
18.29%more conversions
10.25%more conversions from Google Organic traffic
